In-Home Support WorkerWe are seeking a caring and dedicated In-Home Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and assistance, personal hygiene, and medication reminders.
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients, such as playing games, reading, or going for walks.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for clients, including tidying rooms and changing bed linens.
- Respond promptly to client requests and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Minimum age of 18 years with relevant experience or education in a caregiving role.
- Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help seniors.
- Food safety training is required (training will be provided if necessary).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to clients' locations.
- Current clean criminal record and vulnerable sector checks.
$15.75 per hour
Day shifts and working every other weekend rotation.
