Job Title: Child Care Worker Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Child Care Worker Assistant to join our team at Richmond Montessori School Inc.

Job Summary:

The Child Care Worker Assistant will provide support to our early childhood educators in creating a safe and engaging environment for children. This role involves assisting with daily routines, planning activities, and maintaining a clean and organized space.

Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • Food allergy and anaphylaxis training
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
