About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at ECONO GAS. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our gas bar and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales staff, including assigning duties and providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Hire, train, and develop our staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules to ensure that our gas bar is well-staffed and operating smoothly.
    • Authorize the return of merchandise and manage our inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize sales.
    • Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Ensure that our gas bar is clean and well-maintained, and that our staff are dressed in a professional and uniform manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage our cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
    • Oversee payroll administration and ensure that our staff are paid accurately and on time.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct regular performance reviews with our staff to provide feedback and coaching.
    • Identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address any issues.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
    • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Accurate and efficient in all aspects of work.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
