The Department of Law, Economics, Accounting and Finance is a dynamic and growing unit within the Shannon School of Business at Cape Breton University. **About the Position**

We are seeking collaborative candidates with demonstrated evidence of effective teaching and research in Accounting. The successful candidates will be expected to teach a range of courses, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, and taxation, as well as contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives.

**Requirements**

Candidates are required to have a PhD or DBA in accounting (ABD is acceptable) OR a master in business and the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in good standing. A strong research agenda and a commitment to community engagement are essential.
