**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our team at Young Boy Drywall Ltd. As a Drywall Taper, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing surfaces, mixing compounds, and applying, leveling, and smoothing plaster and seal joints. You will also use appropriate tools and allow coat to dry and sand it after drying. Additionally, you will apply successive coats of compound and repair cracks and holes due to damages. You will protect exterior corners by installing metal corner beads and tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound. You will also spray acoustic materials over walls and ceilings, finishing corners and angles, and work collaboratively between departments for efficiency.

**Responsibilities:**

* Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing
* Mix and apply compounds to achieve a smooth finish
* Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
* Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
* Spray acoustic materials over walls and ceilings
* Finish corners and angles to a high standard
* Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure efficiency

**Requirements:**

* 1 year of experience as a Drywall Taper
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Physical ability to handle heavy equipment
* Secondary education required
* Must be able to communicate in English
