Job Title: Warehouseperson

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouseperson to join our team at Reads Heating Edmonton. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and Processing: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and conditions against delivery documents.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and reporting issues to management.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely shipment to customers.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Load and unload goods, operate material handling equipment, and ensure safe and secure storage of inventory.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on inventory, identifying and reporting any damage or defects.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
Work Environment:

Our warehouse operates in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to lift, bend, and move materials as needed.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
