About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at 2459582 Alberta Ltd. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust furniture and polish surfaces to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Vacuuming and Cleaning: Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris.
  • Supply Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to ensure a comfortable and hygienic environment.
  • Fixture and Appliance Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Disinfection and Sanitization: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Elevator Maintenance: Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Trash and Debris Removal: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Changing Room and Shower Maintenance: Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
  • Work Schedule: The work schedule is 35 hours per week, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
