Role Description

We are seeking a skilled OTR Tire Technician to join our team at Kal Tire. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' vehicles by performing tire repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tire repairs and maintenance on OTR vehicles, including tire changes, balancing, and inflation.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tires and wheels to identify potential issues.
  • Use specialized equipment to diagnose and repair tire-related problems.
  • Work with customers to understand their tire needs and provide recommendations for maintenance and repair.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in tire repair and maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of tire safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment and tires.
