Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Cleaner to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and hardware in the equipment train, as well as manufacturing suites/rooms.
  • Assist in the dis-assembly and re-assembly of equipment and hardware, except for critical equipment.
  • Enter confined spaces to perform cleaning tasks, following safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure manufacturing equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to specified cleaning SOPs and document accordingly.
  • Report any injuries or illnesses immediately and notify CPL of any hazards, unsafe acts, or conditions in the workplace.
  • Maintain the wash-up areas and manufacturing suites/rooms to meet GMP standards.
  • Contribute to achieving Lean Goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Preferably one to two years of experience in a pharmaceutical/GMP production environment.
  • Demonstrate competencies in CPL's core values: Excellence, Rigor, Ownership, Integrity, and Agility.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency and strong attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

  • Confined space entry may be required.
  • Heavy lifting may be necessary.
  • Repetitive hip and upper body twisting movements.
  • Visual acuity necessary.
  • Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity necessary.
