Gobind Granite Inc is seeking a skilled Granite Cutter to join our team. As a Granite Cutter, you will be responsible for operating blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions. You will also operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish. Additionally, you will operate stone-dressing lathe to sharpen and dress grindstones that grind logs into pulp, and operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications. You will also be responsible for finishing stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and experience in the field. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 35 hours per week. If you are a skilled and experienced Granite Cutter looking for a new challenge, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
