Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Healthcare Security Specialist to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Healthcare Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our healthcare workers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, with a focus on providing a safe and secure environment.
  • Prevent Security Incidents: Monitor site visitors, perform ID checks, and prevent theft, violence, or infraction of rules and regulations.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Respond professionally to site emergencies, including alarms, medical emergencies, fires, and other urgent matters.
  • Communicate Effectively: Effectively communicate all suspicious activities, concerns, issues, and events to our dispatch team.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and maintain professional and effective reports regarding security incidents, security violations, and hazardous occurrences.
  • Patrol the Facility: Regularly patrol the facility to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Requirements:

  • First Aid & CPR Certification: Hold a valid First Aid & CPR certification from a recognized organization.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including report writing.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a professional demeanor and deportment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and respond to emergencies under pressure.
  • Discretion: Maintain discretion when handling confidential and private information.
  • Physical Ability: Possess the physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to pass a security clearance and obtain a security license.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent and of legal age.
