About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our members and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve beverages to our members and their guests
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including inventory management and ordering supplies
  • Assist in the set-up and take-down of social and military functions
  • Operate a Point of Sales system and handle cash transactions
  • Ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma and some years of bartending experience
  • OR an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (Quebec)
  • Must possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (Quebec)
  • Experience in serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cash handling, and customer service
  • Competencies in client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership
Language Requirements

French is essential for this role.

Working Conditions

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location. The successful candidate will be required to perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling, and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg).
