About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled manager with a strong background in Information Technology and Data Center Operations to lead our teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of three teams, ensuring they are functioning effectively and meeting the company's operational and strategic goals.
This role requires a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and a strong desire to ensure the success of our teams and company.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Management: Lead the data center program in alignment with business needs and IT infrastructure strategy.
- Technical Leadership: Lead the team responsible for installing, managing, and supporting equipment in our data centers and server rooms.
- HR Management: Manage all aspects of human resources for the team members you serve, including recruitment, performance management, training, coaching, and talent development.
- Financial Management: Contribute to the creation and management of your teams' budgets, ensuring that all financial metrics are met.
- Escalation Point: Act as the primary escalation point for any challenges that arise within your area of responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in Data Center Operations, IT Operations, or similar leadership role.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and of computer hardware/software systems.
- Experience with cloud technologies and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of human resource management principles.
- Experience with budget and business operations management.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
