We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail FX Trader to join our team at Vancouver Bullion & Currency Exchange Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for originating new business with new and existing clients, developing and implementing sales plans, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Originate new business with new and existing clients by applying consultative sales and service principles, practices, and techniques.
- Develop and implement a rolling 3-to-6-month sales plan to achieve sales targets for foreign currency products and services.
- Carry out Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals orders, monitor live rates for clients, and problem-solve inquiries and suggest the most appropriate solutions and best service options.
- Provide professional quality service to clients, accept purchase/sale orders in a courteous, professional, and knowledgeable manner, and resolve issues and report any discrepancies to the supervisor/director.
- Contribute to the development and achievement of team objectives by providing input and participating in networking and trade show events.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of foreign currency products and services, including sales principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Sales-oriented, with a proven track record of developing and executing sales plans to achieve targets.
- Ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and flexibility in terms of schedule, hours, and locations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and develop industry vertical contacts.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and standards, with the ability to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
