Key Responsibilities- Client Management: Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope, acting as the point of contact for these clients.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely final review and delivery of federal and state income tax compliances, including quarterly estimates.
- Advisory: Provide federal and state tax advisory services to corporations.
- Audit Assistance: Assist with federal and state audits, including correspondence, data compilation, and audit coordination.
- Collaboration: Liaise with our offshore team regularly for the execution of tax compliances and advisory services.
- Risk and Performance Management: Manage engagement risk and performance, including project budgets, resource planning, status, and financial metrics.
- Business Development: Participate in and contribute to the marketing and business development activities of the firm.
- ~5+ years in public accounting firms combined with advanced academic qualifications; active CPA (current and valid license required).
- ~ Strong technical skill in federal and multi-state taxation.
- ~ Strong experience in tax compliances for business owners/high net worth individuals and passthrough businesses.
- ~ Decent experience in tax compliances for C-Corporations.
- ~ Proficient knowledge of automated tax processing systems and Microsoft Office tools, including hands-on experience with advance Excel features, Thomson Reuters Gosystems and tax research applications.
- ~ Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership ability.
- ~ Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information.
- ~ Demonstrate problem-solving ability along with attention to detail and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
