Bakery Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recipe Execution: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure high-quality products.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Team Leadership: Schedule staff, oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, and operate machinery to maintain efficient bakery operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, excellent oral and written communication, judgement, reliability, team player, and patience.
Work Environment:

Work Term: Permanent.

Work Language: English.

Hours: 35 hours per week.
