Apprentice Mason Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apprentice Mason to join our team at Riverstone Management. As an Apprentice Mason, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of masonry projects, including stone, brick, and veneer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build with high competency using various masonry units and build formats
  • Follow directions of masons on the build and assist labourers with site needs
  • Tool joints to designated finish on site
  • Ensure masons' workstations are prepared, well-stocked, and tidy
  • Stage build areas, including scaffolding
  • Follow and enforce site safety protocols
  • Hitting build benchmarks and daily build targets efficiently
  • Housekeeping site, including cleaning mixing stations and tools, ensuring safe access, and protecting supplies
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of masonry experience: stone, brick, and/or veneer
  • Willingness to learn and adhere to all safety protocols
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Occasional travel to job sites outside of Victoria
  • Passionate about masonry craftsmanship with pride and excellence
  • Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication (verbally and in writing)
  • Punctuality and strong personal organization skills
  • Valid Driver's license
