We are seeking a highly skilled Application Development Manager to join our team at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for assessing, designing, developing, configuring, and implementing application and infrastructure solutions to support our business requirements.
Your Role in the OrganizationAs an Application Development Manager, you will report to the Service Owner - Corporate Services and be empowered to:
- Develop and configure applications, integrations, data, and infrastructure in accordance with business requirements.
- Conduct technical testing and support business testing until bugs are resolved.
- Develop and deploy proof of concepts, prototypes, and evaluate opportunities to leverage agile methodologies and tools.
- Develop and maintain code and configuration repositories to ensure code is centrally monitored and managed.
- Support the change and release management process (ITIL) including defining release strategy and associated task planning for Product Squad Deliverables and Projects.
- Provide application support, including on-call support as required to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Identify potential solution risks and issues and escalate/communicate to relevant key stakeholders (business/technology/vendors) to ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
- Contribute to Request for Proposals by providing Technical Requirements and supporting vendor evaluations.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Minimum six (6) years' experience in progressively advancing roles within Technology or closely related function.
- Minimum of four (4) years' experience in solution application/infrastructure design, development, and/or delivery.
- Post-secondary degree, preferably in Enterprise Technology Systems, business administration discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
