This is a Temporary Full-Time position for 2 months .

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday

Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Compensation is set at a Leveling rate of $29.60 per hour until the conclusion of wage leveling, after which the pay will align with the collective agreement rates.

As a Registered Care Attendant, your daily responsibilities will include:


• Maintaining accurate resident records and necessary documentation in compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative standards.


• Performing medication assistance and care tasks, which encompass: BP monitoring, catheter care, assistance with range of motion exercises, mobility support, and medication administration including eye drops, inhalers, nebulizers, PRN medications, insulin injections, transdermal patches, and topical ointments as delegated or as part of routine daily living assistance.


• Monitoring the well-being of residents in accordance with residence policies.


• Executing additional related duties to support common area cleaning, laundry, and resident care tasks.


• Completing all aspects of resident care as detailed in the personal service plan.


• Responding promptly to resident call bells and door alarms, providing courteous assistance.


• Carrying out other assigned duties as needed.

Essential qualifications include:


• Successful completion of a Care Aid certificate program.


• Medication Certification.


• Current First Aid/CPR training and experience in medication assistance.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.


• All candidates must successfully pass a Criminal Records Check.
