Production Manager

At DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P., we're committed to excellence in everything we do. As a Production Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cheese production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and coordinate production activities to meet quality and quantity targets.
- Review processing schedules and production orders to optimize inventory and staffing requirements.
- Develop and implement production tracking systems to monitor quality control and maintenance.
- Train and evaluate staff, and resolve personnel grievances.
- Prepare and maintain production reports to inform business decisions.
- Coordinate facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including machine replacement.
- Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, including HACCP, BRC, and GMP.
- Food/dairy/manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Team player with a positive proactive attitude.
- Reliable and committed to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Quick learner who adapts easily to change.
- Able to work overtime, statutory holidays, and weekends as required.
