Job Title: Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic

Sovereign Transportation Inc. is seeking a skilled Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of commercial transport trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, including routine inspections and repairs, to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Test and adjust units to specifications, ensuring that all vehicles meet our high standards for quality and safety.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed, providing valuable insights for future maintenance and repair activities.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent judgment and reliability, with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Flexibility to work a 30-hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
