About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at THE MODERN PUNJAB RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and stored, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils, including workstations, cupboards, storage areas, and appliances.
  • Dishwashing and Storage: Wash and dry dishes, glassware, and flatware, and store them in designated areas.
  • Trash and Recycling: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that recycling bins are emptied and cleaned regularly.
  • Assisting with Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes.
  • General Kitchen Duties: Perform general kitchen duties, including restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
