About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Caregiver to join our team at Private Home Care. As a Family Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to clients as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
  • Assist with Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Assist with Exercise and Mobility: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health and mobility.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a caregiving role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
