Housing Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team at Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Bay and District Incorporated. As a key member of our community service organization, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual, family, or group interviews to assess client needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive services and referrals to clients.
  • Deliver presentations and workshops to promote community development and social work initiatives.
  • Ensure client safety and well-being through vulnerability checks and other measures.
  • Provide transportation and travel support as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in child welfare or community development.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
