Job Title: Security Team Lead - Brampton Civic Hospital

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Team Lead to join our team at Brampton Civic Hospital. As a Security Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities and job performance of the Security Guards assigned to your shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training to Security Guards
  • Ensure all site staff adhere to Paladin Security and hospital security policies and procedures
  • Motivate staff and recommend commendations to the Supervisor
  • Ensure proper documentation is passed onto the Supervisor/CSM
  • Assist in tracking and deployment of security staff
  • Handle dispatch duties, including incident call taking
  • Document and investigate security incidents and complaints
  • Communicate concerns/issues with Supervisor/Client Service Manager
Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) years of hospital security experience required
  • Minimum one (1) year of supervisory/team lead experience required
  • Preferred Post-Secondary education in a Law Enforcement/Security program
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy
