We are seeking a skilled Driller - Surface Mining Specialist to join our team at Major's Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our drilling operations, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently drilling operations in a surface mining environment.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drilling operations is preferred.
- Work Setting: Drilling operations in a surface mining environment.
- Certifications and Licenses: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate is required.
- Drilling Equipment: Experience with diamond drill equipment is essential.
- Transportation and Travel: Willingness to travel is required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding work environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Health Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision care benefits are offered.
- Work Terms: Permanent position with 60 hours per week.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
