About the Role

The Clinical Manager will be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence in resident care and promoting a culture of safety and freedom from harm or injury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of resident-centered care and safety
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to residents
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and promote effective communication
  • Develop and maintain a system to provide 24-hour nursing care on the unit
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to ensure they meet the needs of residents and the organization
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure Wing Kei remains a leader in seniors care

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current Certificate of Competence from the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA)
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Annual MDS Competency Certification
  • Experience as a professional registered nurse with proven success in leadership roles in Long Term Care or Supportive Living
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
