Security Analyst Job Description

CES Energy Solutions Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Security Analyst to join our team. As a Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and security of our enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
  • Manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to monitor and analyze security events, identifying potential security breaches and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Conduct regular security testing, including penetration testing, to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee email security protocols to prevent phishing and other email-borne threats, ensuring the security of our email infrastructure.
  • Lead incident response activities, including investigation and remediation of security breaches, to minimize the impact on our business operations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance the security posture of the organization, staying current with the latest security trends, threats, and control technologies.
  • Provide training and support to staff on security best practices, ensuring a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a security analyst in a mid-level position, with a strong understanding of security frameworks and risk management methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
  • Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service-Oriented Architectures) and network/web-related protocols.
  • Experience with KQL (Kusto Query Language) is highly desirable.
