About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Dominion Masonry Ltd. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying waterproofing cement or other materials over insulating materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and apply waterproofing cement or other materials as needed.
  • Painting: Apply paint to surfaces, using brushes and rollers as required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean equipment, including brushes and rollers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting or a related field.
  • Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, hand-eye coordination, and physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment as required.
Work Environment

As a Painter at Dominion Masonry Ltd, you will work outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces. You will be required to work in a variety of locations, including on-site customer service.
