About Us

Trails End Taphouse & Restaurant is a social enterprise that exists to make a significant impact on social causes around the world. We are a for-profit company that uses 100% of our profits to do more social good. Our mission is to pioneer a friend-funding movement with a platform that lets anyone easily raise funds for projects in the developing world.

We work with amazing charity partners like Free The Children, Room To Read, Somaly Mam Foundation, and Pencils of Promise. Our team is passionate about empowering people to make big change in the world.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Front End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with best practices for creating high-quality and effective web applications.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop functional web pages, templates & forms from wireframes and/or mockups.
  2. Communicate requirements with the designers and the rest of the development team.
  3. Participate in code and design reviews.
  4. Be constantly willing to adapt, change, learn, and grow.
Requirements
  1. Familiarity with best practices for creating high-quality and effective web applications.
  2. Experience with Angular, Backbone, or other client-side MVC frameworks.
  3. Experience with SASS or LESS as well as CSS3.
  4. Experience with Twitter Bootstrap, Foundation, or other front-end frameworks.
  5. Passion for empowering people to make big change in the world.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Familiarity with responsive design.
  2. Experience with version control systems (we use GitHub).
  3. Knowledge of optimizing content for quick page delivery/rendering.
