As a **309-A Electrician and Site Supervisor**, you will oversee intricate projects, managing teams ranging from five to thirty personnel, and directing undertakings that exceed 2000 hours. This position is tailored for individuals who thrive in overseeing multi-faceted ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) projects with tight timelines, necessitating large teams and involving sophisticated electrical systems.
Strong communication skills are essential, as you will represent **Kraun Electric** in all site interactions, including meetings, discussions, and documentation such as daily logs and Requests for Information (RFIs). You should be organized, goal-driven, and possess extensive electrical expertise in the ICI sectors.
Expect to engage in projects such as retirement communities, healthcare facilities, multi-story residential buildings, manufacturing plants, and educational institutions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Consistently represent **Kraun Electric** with professionalism and embody our core values.
- Install electrical systems including wiring, conduits, raceways, fixtures, switches, receptacles, and safety devices.
- Set up and energize power distribution equipment, including panels, circuits, transformers, and relays.
- Implement life safety systems, such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, and backup generators.
- Connect electrical power to various devices and systems, including mechanical and alarm systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, identifying root causes and developing effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) regulations and building codes.
- Install according to project specifications and documentation.
- Interpret technical drawings and electrical codes to determine wiring layouts.
- Test circuits for safety and proper installation.
- Maintain company tools and equipment, ensuring they are organized and secure.
- Adhere to company policies regarding electrical work.
- Complete daily logs and reports.
- Lead and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring high-quality work and professional growth.
- Enforce safety protocols through inspections and documentation.
- Drive project success through organization and goal orientation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Conduct quality control checks to uphold our standards of excellence.
- Foster a positive work environment where team members feel valued and productive.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure resource adequacy.
- Oversee the safe use of machinery and equipment.
- Monitor attendance and performance, addressing concerns promptly.
- Organize tools and materials for maximum efficiency.
- Submit reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with inspectors, owners, and other trades.
- Perform additional duties as required.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- 309-A Electrician (Construction & Maintenance) License in Good Standing.
- Valid Ontario G License with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of background screening, including reference and criminal checks.
**Preferred Skills**
- Experience as an electrician in industrial, commercial, or institutional settings.
- Minimum two years as an electrical site supervisor.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution and fire alarms.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Proficient in using technology and software relevant to the role.
**Working Environment & Physical Demands**

- Working at heights and in confined spaces.

- Navigating uneven terrain.
