Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at NOV Inc. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine work procedures.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to maximize material usage and equipment efficiency.
  • Perform precise measurements to ensure components meet specific tolerances and surface finishes.
  • Operate and handle materials and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Report any environmental and health & safety issues that arise.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Assist in the training of other employees and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in setup and operation of CNC Lathes and/or Mills.
  • Trade certification considered an asset, but not required.
  • Overhead Crane and Forklift Certificates required.
  • Weingartner experience considered an asset.
  • Leistritz experience considered an asset.
