Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Metal Coating Specialist to join our team at Ideal Coatings & Fabrication Ltd. This role involves applying protective and decorative coatings to various metal products.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required
  • Experience: On-the-job training provided
Work Environment

  • Exposure to dusty, hot, and noisy conditions
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Manage and organize inventory
  • Utilize micrometers and calipers to ensure proper thickness of coatings
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Apply paint and perform touch-ups with brushes
  • Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to established specifications
  • Select and mix appropriate paints for various applications
  • Operate equipment for the application of coatings
  • Spray or coat items as required
Certifications
  • First Aid Certification is preferred
