Key Responsibilities

National Programs Manager, People & Culture


We are thrilled to present a unique opportunity for a National Programs Manager, P&C, with the flexibility to work from various locations.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of People & Culture, you will oversee the creation, execution, and ongoing management of national human resources initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and adherence to all applicable employment regulations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong history of collaboration with stakeholders and a focus on effective execution and delivery.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Design, implement, and sustain national policies and programs, including the upkeep of employee manuals, P&C SharePoint resources, and communications.
  • Lead national initiatives focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, including compliance with government reporting requirements.
  • Work in partnership with P&C teams across operations to ensure program consistency and the availability of updated national resources.
  • Assist the VP with various national projects, conducting research on best practices and industry benchmarks.
  • Create RACI and Gantt charts to facilitate project management.
  • Draft communications to support project initiation, execution, and launch, including presentations and frameworks.
  • Maintain lists of outstanding deliverables, ensuring all tasks are tracked and addressed.
  • Collaborate with regional People & Culture Directors to develop succession planning and comprehensive development strategies for leaders.
  • Manage interactions and invoicing for national vendors, including recruitment and background check services, while tracking and reporting on all P&C-related expenditures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in human resources, particularly within large-scale projects or national organizations.
  • A university degree in Human Resources or a related field; CPHR/CHRP/CHRL designation is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining programs and processes.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, ATS, and HRIS platforms is beneficial.
  • Self-motivated with a strong initiative to work independently.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a critical thinking approach.
  • A passion for HR initiatives and creating frameworks that enhance employee experiences.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
