Truck Driver

At DARK Enterprise, we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload goods and materials at designated locations, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a truck driver.
- Licenses and Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing schedules and routes.
- Judgement: Good judgement and decision-making skills to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Organized: Ability to maintain accurate records and stay organized.
- Reliability: Dependable and reliable to meet deadlines and schedules.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Hours of Work: 35 to 44 hours per week.
- Language of Work: English.
