Position Overview

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

CLIENT INTERACTION

Deliver outstanding customer service with each interaction, enhancing the overall client experience through effective service and guidance. Accurately and efficiently handle a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments. Address and resolve client inquiries, escalating issues when necessary. Assess client needs and provide appropriate solutions, as well as facilitate the opening of select products and services.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVES

Contribute to the achievement of organizational goals by supporting advisory objectives. Advocate for products, services, and banking capabilities. Understand and adhere to operational policies and procedures. Play a role in achieving Operational Excellence business targets. Ensure timely and precise execution of business processes. Identify and escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions as needed. Engage in process improvement initiatives. Maintain due diligence to ensure the accuracy of all client transactions. Adhere to the Bank's Code of Conduct.

TEAM CONTRIBUTION

Actively participate as a team member, fostering team effectiveness and a positive workplace atmosphere. Enhance team support by continuously expanding knowledge in relevant areas. Engage in personal performance management and development, including cross-training within the team. Keep colleagues informed about pertinent information related to daily operations. Promote a fair and inclusive environment that supports a diverse workforce. Serve as a brand ambassador for the business area and the bank, both internally and externally.

SCOPE OF ROLE

Requires established customer service skills to manage a range of routine activities and multi-step transactions, typically with limited financial implications. Requires comprehensive knowledge of the basic product offerings supported by the business. Evaluate and recommend client solutions from established options. Understand how assigned responsibilities relate to others in the customer service or advisory team and how the team collaborates with other departments. Identify and address client issues in straightforward situations using standard procedures, escalating complex issues internally as needed. Influence team outcomes through the quality of service and information provided to clients. Follow standardized procedures for advice and customer service, suggesting improvements in their work area. Utilize communication skills to clarify product and process information, ensuring understanding of key details. Requires practical knowledge and skills gained through formal training or relevant experience. Typically reports to a Customer Experience Manager or Branch Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Post-secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field is preferred.
