Position Overview

:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil CAD/BIM Supervisor to guide our CAD/BIM team in Western Canada. This position entails overseeing design and drafting staff, managing project workloads, and ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Delivery Teams with the integration of BIM processes.
  • Create and maintain BIM documentation throughout various phases of projects.
  • Document and archive all communications related to BIM operations.
  • Deliver training on BIM software to project team members.
  • Ensure that Project Information Models are developed according to established protocols.
  • Analyze clash detection and coordinate models effectively.
  • Work closely with discipline leads to implement design modifications.
  • Facilitate planning and construction efforts using 4D sequencing models.
  • Prepare models for constructability assessments.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance evaluations on models and related reports.
  • Assist in the data collection and validation for the Asset Information Model.
  • Establish and oversee the Common Data Environment.
  • Define the design team structure and staffing requirements.
  • Review work to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Provide training, perform evaluations, and offer recommendations.
  • Advise on project advancement and financial performance.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of supervisory experience in a comparable field.
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Expertise in various BIM software applications and platforms.
  • Experience within the Canadian market is preferred.

Compensation:
