Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and physically capable individual to assist in the kitchen with various tasks, including food preparation, cleaning, and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of food, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, as well as maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Stock Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate dishwashers, deep fryers, and other kitchen equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Availability: Availability to work a 40-hour week required.
