Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager and Estimator to join our team at Black & McDonald. As a key member of our Utility Department, you will be responsible for leading projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Prepare and manage project estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment costs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage project schedules, milestones, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including labor productivity, work outcomes, and budget
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical or construction management, with a focus on project management and estimation
  • Degree or diploma in project management, construction engineering technology, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, planning, and execution
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Intermediate user of MS Office, JD Edwards, or an Oracle-based ERP system, and Accubid estimating software
