Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hair Stylist to join our team at 7109938 Canada Ltd. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair care and styling, providing exceptional service to our clients.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
Work Environment
  • Site: Rural area, Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
  • Conditions: Noisy, Non-smoking
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and manage client appointments
  • Execute hair cutting and trimming based on client preferences
  • Shampoo and treat customers' hair
  • Provide various hair treatments including waving, straightening, and tinting
  • Apply color treatments such as bleach, tints, and dyes
  • Style hair through cutting, curling, waving, and perming
  • Advise clients on suitable hairstyles that enhance their features
  • Perform receptionist duties as needed
Licenses and Certifications
  • Hairstylist Licence required
Technical Skills
  • Hair Styling Techniques: Blow drying, Hair braiding, Iron waving/curling, Permanents, Twisting, Relaxing, Pin curls, Roller setting
  • Hair Coloring Techniques: Bleach, Dyes/tints, Frosting, Streaking/highlights

  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks
  • Capabilities: Attention to detail, Hand-eye coordination, Ability to stand for extended periods

Work Schedule

Expected hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
