Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in selecting eyewear that complements their lifestyle
  • Inform patients about vision correction options
  • Guide patients in choosing frames that fulfill their requirements
  • Interpret and apply optical prescriptions
  • Ensure accurate fitting and adjustment of eyewear
  • Distribute glasses and contact lenses to clients
  • Conduct repairs and modifications on eyewear
  • Maintain and organize product displays

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in optical techniques from a recognized institution
  • Registered member of the Quebec Opticians Order
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritizing tasks
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset
