Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Collaborate: Work with other graphic designers and graphic arts technicians to ensure high-quality output.
- Estimate and Plan: Accurately estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations, and plan accordingly.
- Adapt and Enhance: Adapt existing illustrations to meet client needs and enhance their visual appeal.
- Storyboard Development: Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions, including multimedia, interactive, and digital products, as well as television advertising and productions.
- Client Consultation: Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations, ensuring they meet their communications needs.
- Design and Production: Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations, working in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Production Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials.
- Client Consultation: Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
- Medium Selection: Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
- Guidelines Establishment: Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in graphic design.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
