About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunication Line Technician to join our team at DiV Communications Ltd. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our communication networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable signals and associated equipment.
  • Network Testing and Troubleshooting: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment, and repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
  • Network Configuration and Optimization: Read blueprints to determine work requirements, and install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment.
  • Network Documentation and Reporting: Complete and maintain test and service reports, and connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets.
  • Network Expansion and Upgrade: Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access, and test equipment to locate transmission faults.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors, and be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
