About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Whitby Shores Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials as needed.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Machinery Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring proper operation and maintenance.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Work Environment: This role involves working outdoors in various locations, including dusty, cold, and hot conditions.
  • Work Setting: As a Construction Labourer, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and other outdoor settings.
