About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Travelodge Bracebridge. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our staff and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and train a team of 5-10 staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff members to help them resolve work-related problems and improve productivity.
  • Operations Management
    • Coordinate and assign tasks to staff members to ensure that all areas of the hotel are running smoothly.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis to ensure that they are informed of any issues or concerns.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to ensure that the hotel is well-stocked and equipped.
    • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be completed in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. hospitality, business administration).
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
