Partner Staffing is collaborating with a client in search of a dedicated and skilled Senior Environmental Project Coordinator to become a vital part of their management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing and overseeing environmental initiatives, ensuring adherence to environmental laws and guidelines. This position requires working alongside diverse teams, engaging in field studies, drafting reports, and offering expert advice on ecological matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Direct and oversee various environmental initiatives from start to finish.
  2. Create project strategies, schedules, and financial plans.
  3. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members to achieve project goals.
  4. Track project developments and implement changes as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  5. Perform field studies, including ecological evaluations, wildlife assessments, and habitat analyses.
  6. Gather, assess, and interpret environmental information.
  7. Draft comprehensive reports, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
  8. Ensure all initiatives comply with local, provincial, and federal environmental laws and guidelines.
  9. Mentor and guide junior biologists and environmental technicians.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  2. At least 5 years of experience in environmental project coordination.
  3. Professional certification (e.g., P.Biol., RPBio) is advantageous.
  4. Demonstrated experience in conducting environmental evaluations and field studies.
  5. Strong project management capabilities, including financial oversight and scheduling.
