Position Summary
We are currently seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to join our team at CFB Kingston. This position offers a substantial amount of time for scheduled appointments, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality patient care. The clinic is fully equipped with access to diagnostic and support services either on-site or within the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver diagnostic imaging services in compliance with CAMRT and provincial standards for Medical Radiation Technologists.
• Manage diagnostic imaging reception duties, ensuring accurate patient medical documentation.
• Process X-ray requisitions efficiently.
• Prepare patients for examinations, securing informed consent through clear explanations and instructions.
• Conduct general, specialized, and emergency diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing appropriate techniques.

Qualifications

• Active certification and membership as a Medical Radiation Technologist with CAMRT.
• Current licensure with the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
• Valid certification in Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or equivalent, such as CPR/AED Level C.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical or hospital setting, performing a range of radiology examinations while adhering to safe radiation protection protocols.
• Experience in implementing diagnostic imaging quality assurance and control measures.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining digital imaging systems, including digital radiography and Picture Archival and Communication Systems.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level.
