Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Handling: Prepare, heat, and finalize simple food items while ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Take customer orders and serve them at counters or buffet tables, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of food quantities used and replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Food Storage: Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in appropriate storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Utilize manual and electrical appliances for food preparation and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits, as well as package take-out food efficiently.
  • Equipment Care: Sharpen kitchen knives and handle cleaning products safely.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
  • Work Hours: Availability to work between 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
