Your Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director, Mergers and Acquisitions to join our Advisory team in Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a range of advisory assignments, including sell-side and buy-side transactions, capital raisings, and other corporate finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex advisory assignments, assuming responsibility for the day-to-day execution and delivery of service on projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct market and industry research, detailed financial analysis, and evaluate key drivers of financial performance
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the M&A and Capital Markets practice and BDO
  • Mentor and develop junior team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with a CPA, CFA, or CBV designation
  • Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in capital markets/corporate finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, autonomous, rigorous, and able to work under pressure
  • Strong work initiative and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
  • Ability to travel, when necessary
