Position Overview

The Vice President of Hospitality will spearhead the operations and personnel responsible for delivering food and beverage services to thousands of visitors at our various locations each year.

As our Vice President of Hospitality, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Enhancing financial performance through departmental reporting, annual budgeting, and daily expenditure monitoring.
  2. Managing inventory control, product costs, cash handling, and procurement, while implementing cost management strategies to ensure positive financial outcomes.
  3. Collaborating with team members, including operational partners and Compass associates, to guarantee efficient operational performance.
  4. Developing and proposing menus, promotions, and programs that align with Compass standards.
  5. Fostering strong relationships with guests, subcontractors, and Compass team members.
  6. Ensuring compliance with security, safety, and sanitation standards, while enforcing responsible alcohol service policies.
  7. Recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring both management and hourly staff, building a cohesive team based on individual strengths and accountability.
  8. Implementing engagement strategies to recognize, motivate, and celebrate outstanding individual and team performances.
  9. Exhibiting meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative spirit to cultivate a positive workplace culture.

To excel in the role of Vice President of Hospitality, we seek candidates who possess:

  1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Food and Beverage Management at a Director of Operations or General Manager level within a sports and entertainment context, with experience managing high-volume operations.
  2. At least 2 years of experience at a Vice President level is preferred.
  3. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and sales is advantageous.
  4. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in mathematics and computer applications.
  5. Strong leadership capabilities to coach, mentor, and inspire staff.
  6. The ability to maintain organization in a dynamic environment.
  7. A proactive attitude, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership qualities.
  8. Willingness to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as required, with a flexible schedule for nights, weekends, and holidays.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a readiness to learn internal retail and technology systems.
